If it was a successful day with medals for France on Friday, the next day turned out to be the same for Germany. Three titles and altogether five medals is an impressive tally for a day with seven finals. Team shined by Silke Lippok and Christian Diener is back on the first position of medals table with six golden. German relay team was also responsible for the only CR of the day. 8:06.78 was more than one and a half seconds better than Great Britains mark from last summer in Prague. In 800 meter relay it was the third medal for Lippok on Saturday. Girls’ final 100 meter butterfly was the tightest one for day four. Medalists Rachael Kelly (GBR), Judit Ignacio Sorribes (ESP) and Beatrice Fassone (ITA) fitted in between 0,17 seconds. Kelly celebrated the victory in time of 1:00.64. On 800 meter freestyle for boys there were two tight duels, one in the morning and one in the evening. The one in the morning brought brightest medals for Ediz Yildirimer from Turkey and Sergiy Frolov from Ukraine. Ward Bauwens (BEL) and Thomas Sunter (GBR) stalked each other out of the race for victory in the evening session. Bauwens took bronze ahead of Sunter. Photos on gallery
