The swimming competition will be held at the Mäkelänrinne Swimming Centre which was the venue for the European Championships 2000 and European Short Course Championships 2006.

  10 lanes, lane-width 2,5 meters
• Warm up pool 25 meters, depth 5,0 meters,
  6 lanes
• Lockers for 550 persons
• Group changerooms for 160 persons
• Seats for 838 spectators (temporary capacity 4000)
• 7 million liters of water in the pools
